Tsvetnoy Central Market

Tsvetnoy Central market is a multi-level modern retail building in Moscow. Cole Jarman worked with architects LDS to undertake a 3D modelling exercise of the internal acoustics and to modify the material properties of the metal celling panels, while retaining the desired appearance.

The result is a space which remains vibrant and lively, but has reduced noise transfer between the market and restaurant areas, with a controlled softer environment in the restaurant areas themselves. The scheme was awarded the best Interior Design at the SBID International Design Awards 2011.
