Trafford Centre

The Trafford Centre is one of the UK’s largest retail and leisure developments. As appointed acoustic consultants for the developer, we undertook noise surveys at the site and developed recommendations for the control of noise emission and noise intrusion, sound insulation between adjacent tenants and internal finishes to ensure a suitable acoustic ambience and good PA system intelligibility.

The latter involved detailed computer modelling of the public areas and presentation to the Client on the conditions that would result from various finish regimes using the computed models to ‘auralise’ the spaces.
