The Tivoli – City Pub Group

A noise impact assessment was undertaken in support of planning application for the alterations and extension of 16 Chesterton Road in Cambridge for City Pub Company.

The proposed development site comprised a fire damaged building, with the intention to re-open the pub to include a range of complimentary activities, across five levels, including two roof terraces. The project included detailed acoustic design in support of the planning application, and subsequent model refinement during the construction phase. A significant emphasis has been placed on the impacts of external areas on neighbouring communities. We worked closely with the architects and audio engineers to design the building façade, entertainments system and noise limiters.
