This was a major refurbishment of the former Grosvenor Kensington Hotel, to create the highly rated Ampersand Hotel.  Cole Jarman advised on sound insulation within the hotel and against external noise, taking account of the restraints of an historic building.  We also advised on plant noise control to meet the demanding standards of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea planning department
