A noise and vibration survey and assessment were undertaken at Helios Apartment 005 and in the adjoining plant room to determine the source of vibration and structure-borne noise that has been the cause of compliant.

Investigative monitoring took place with the ability to manipulate the plant room equipment. From this, the likely source of vibration has been identified as plant machinery situated directly beneath the apartment with both noise and vibration results demonstrating the reduction in vibrational response when certain items were not in operation.
