RSK was commissioned to undertake an investigation of noise and vibration complaints in relation to refurbishment works. The complaints relate to noise stemming from vibration in new pipework and pipe bridge over lagoons.

Prior to the refurbishment works noise monitoring had been undertaken by the client. RSK repeated the series of baseline noise measurements, provided initial design guidance on vibration isolation techniques, and then undertook further measurements following application of measures. The team reported the findings of each survey and the impacts the control measures had.
