Stamford Hill Synagogue

Refurbishment of this community school provided the opportunity to improve the acoustics, where the perception was that it was difficult to hear the Rabbi when he was standing at the omud.

We were approached by referral, as a result of our familiarity and experience with other Jewish religious buildings and practices, and asked to help find a solution whilst maintaining sensitivity to the religious restrictions. Cole Jarman advised on how best to maximise the clarity of speech, using the natural acoustics of the space only, whilst minimising the cost of the project.
