Selby Service Station

RSK was commissioned by PPL on behalf of Roadchef Motorways Ltd to undertake a noise impact assessment to support the proposed construction of a motorway service area (MSA) on land off J42 of the A1(M) at Selby Fork, West Yorkshire.

An assessment of construction and operational noise and vibration was undertaken in support of an Environmental Impact Assessment for the site. This included assessment of car parking areas, undertaken with reference to ‘Parking Area Noise, 6. Revised Edition. Bavarian Landesamt für Umwelt, 2007’.
