Cole Jarman has advised Sainsbury’s on noise matters with respect to planning on well over 100 projects. As well as new stores and extensions, we have worked on extended store delivery and opening hours, and new distribution facilities projects.

We have assessed noise from delivery activities, plant noise, petrol filling station activities, car park noise and road traffic noise. We have also given specialist advice on internal acoustics and presented evidence at public inquiries and hearings. Advice has been given with respect to noise related planning conditions. Noise issues have included service yard noise, plant noise, car park noise and road traffic noise.
