Royal College of Music

Cole Jarman are appointed for the redesign of the Royal College of Music estate, and to continue our long standing association with this most reputable of music conservatoires.

The scheme includes: two new multi-functional performance venues; a new home for the Museum of Music; new communal spaces for audiences with cafe-bar and restaurant facilities, as well as new recording facilities and additional practice and teaching rooms for the College.

We provided advice for all aspects of the project, including sound isolation detailing, services noise control, performance space room acoustics and construction noise management. We worked on the project from very early stages in 2016 through to completion in early 2020.
