Qarmat Ali Water Pipeline ESIA, Reservoir and Field Upgrades

The Phase 2 Qarmat Ali Water Pipeline ESIA involved enabling work for heavy haul roads and rig road upgrades. The project comprised the construction and operation of two new main source water pipelines, associated branch source water pipelines and above-ground facilities as part of the upgrade of the source water system to the Rumaila Field.

Work included operational and construction noise monitoring, computational noise modelling, assessment and production of an ESIA chapter. The project was prepared to IFC standards.Following on form the initial phase, the RSK team also provided technica acoustic support in a further two phases for ROO, including ESIA for the QA Reservoir Project, and the water intake upgrades.
