Project Lounge
The 100-acre Project Lounge site in Leicestershire was progressed as a joint venture between Gazeley and UK Coal. The scheme was intended to include a 79,000 sqm warehouse facilitating road and rail distribution in the East Midlands region.
Cole Jarman undertook a planning noise assessment for the propose scheme, assessing potential noise impacts upon local residents from HGV and rail freight movements, in addition to associated on-site activities.
The Noise and Vibration chapter of an Environmental Statement was also prepared and an Environmental Impact Assessment was conducted of operational noise, including vehicle movements and loading/unloading of freight on both the rail side and the road side of the warehouse.
