Pirelli HQ2

We were appointed by Pirelli to advise on the acoustic design aspects of their HQ2 building in Milan. The external fabric had to be designed to meet the noise intrusion requirements of Italian Law DPCM 05/12/97, and measured traffic noise data acquired at the site was used in the analysis.

Full specifications for the external glazing were developed, and an assessment of the internal acoustic conditions was undertaken. Recommendations were developed to ensure that room acoustics met the requirements in specialist meeting and presentation rooms, as well as the cellular and open plan office areas.
