Eastgate Church

The new build Eastgate near Northfleet provides multi-purpose conference and events facilities for the Eastgate Church and the community. The upper floor comprises a flexible 550 seat auditorium, which was designed to balance a lively feel conducive to congregational participation with speech intelligibility and control of reverberation. The ground floor houses flexible multi-purpose rooms and a café. The flexible rooms are accessed directly from the café, which is also open plan to the entrance. Careful consideration of sound insulation and acoustic surface finishes was therefore required
