National Grid YE Power Transmission

RSK has been instructed by Babcock to undertake an operational noise survey for noise associated with the overhead power transmission lines along the YE and YF routes from Indian Queens to Landulph, located in the south west of England.

The purpose of the survey was to provide the client with one-third octave noise spectrum data and high quality audio recordings for the existing line operations and report the operational noise environment at nearest residential receptors to the power transmission lines.
The survey encompassed 15 different receptors along approximately 45 miles of transmission line.
