Midland Metro Alliance, West Midlands

RSK Acoustics was commissioned to undertake the role of acoustic consultants for four major tram line extension/refurbishment schemes in Birmingham and Wolverhampton. These schemes form part of a total 10-year tram re-development programme for the West Midlands.

The initial project deliverables involved the production of Section 61 Applications, Dispensations and Variations. Documentation has been produced in line with the appropriate British Standards and guidance for such work. The team is also fully engaging with the various local authorities, stakeholders and the local community along each route in order to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery of the project.
