Middlesex Hospital

We had a full acoustic design brief with Bouygues UK on this PFI project to demolish and rebuild this major hospital. Our design input commenced with noise and vibration surveys of the existing site to set plant noise limits and develop a suitable facade construction.

We advised on the internal design in respect of partitioning, plantroom structures and internal acoustics of the lecture theatre and other rooms. We carried out a full assessment of mechanical services systems for ventilation, cooling and emergency power generation in terms of noise and vibration effects on both the new and existing hospital buildings.
