Marcantonio Foods Ltd, Barking

A noise impact assessment carried out by RSK in support of the planning application for the proposed redevelopment of the Marcantonio Foods Ltd (ice cream cone production) site in Thames Road, Barking.

The redevelopment comprised the subdivision and ‘re-purposing’ of the rear of the warehouse building, and a new extension to the current production building to include offices and welfare facilities. Internal production plant was to remain as existing, therefore two phases of noise measurements were undertaken to inform the assessment; onsite source measurements, and off-site baseline (background, residual and site contribution).
