Hillside Golf Club, Southport – RAL Architects

A noise assessment was undertaken for a first floor extension to Hillside Golf Club, Southport. A pre-application response was received from Sefton Council with specific concerns raised on the potential noise breakout from the proposed enlargement of the bar / function area with an open terrace at first floor level and the potential noise impact on nearby residents from the new kitchen extraction equipment situated on the roof of the clubhouse.

The project included measurements to characterise existing background levels and to quantify noise breakout levels from the clubhouse during a party event.
