Goldsmiths University

Goldsmiths University, London recently built a new Digital Media Centre to support its Media and Communications department and the Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship.

The centre includes a TV studio, large lecture theatre, screening room, digital photography suite, newsroom, radio studio, sound editing suites and video editing suites, together with a large open atrium which incorporates a cafeteria.

Working with Willmott Dixon as the main contractor, architects Stride Treglown and structural and mechanical engineers Giffords we provided detailed acoustic design information for facade performance, internal wall and floor constructions, mechanical services noise and reverberation control.
