Firstsite

Firstsite is a contemporary arts centre which comprises an art gallery, auditorium, and educational facilities. Cole Jarman provided consultancy for all aspects of acoustic design of the building including: sound isolation between adjacent uses, sound insulation from the external environment, control of all plant and activity to ensure no disturbance to sensitive spaces, internal acoustics in gallery spaces and internal acoustics in the auditorium which needs to accommodate a full range of uses from drama to music to cinema presentation.
