ESIA Study for Al-Qassim, Hail and Yanbu Airports

TIBAH has been awarded the contract by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Government for the management, expansion, operation and maintenance of three airports (Al-Qassim, Hail and Yanbu).

We were appointed as the lead consultant to conduct multi-disciplinary environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) for the proposed airport expansions. As part of the ESIA, RSK undertook field surveys to set up noise monitoring programmes to establish the baseline noise levels within the airport premises and at nearest sensitive receptors. Technical information on construction programmes, flight data, aircraft specifications and airport routine activities/emissions were further obtained from TIBAH.
