Crossrail

RSK Acoustics was commissioned to undertake the role of acoustic consultants for various sections of the Crossrail surface construction works. The acoustics team produced comprehensive technical documentation in the form of Section 61 Applications, Dispensations and Variations, plus Crossrail specific IPD09, IPD25 and IPD26.

The Crossrail specific documentation involved comprehensive noise and vibration assessments to determine eligibility for noise insulation/temporary re-housing, for fixed plant installations and for operational purposes. Compliance monitoring (noise and vibration) and stakeholder engagement also became a large responsibility for the RSK team.
