Claridges Hotel

Major refit of an established and historic top London hotel. Surveys of the existing noise levels around the site were undertaken and used to specify sound insulation performance requirements for new and refurbished windows and facade elements.

Wall and floor constructions between guest areas were detailed to achieve suitable sound insulation, as well as installation details for a health club directly above the highest level of guest rooms. Fixed plant noise was detailed to provide suitable attenuation.
