Archie Norman House
Archie Norman House is the latest facility for the rehabilitation of children with brain injuries at the Children’s Trust, Tadworth. The building contains a wide range of facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, multi-sensory bathrooms, a family apartment, 22 bedrooms and staff accommodation. It is the UK’s largest facility for the rehabilitation of children with acquired brain injuries (ABI).
Cole Jarman provided full acoustic design input throughout the project at a reduced fee rate to help ensure a suitable internal acoustic environment for key rooms in the facility, and to help meet the sound insulation requirements of Approved Document E of the Building Regulations, including pre-completion sound insulation testing at the end of the project.
