Alton Green will deliver well-designed homes (over 1000 units) for existing and new residents, two new community centres, public realm improvements and a better connected estate with improved links and pedestrian and cycle routes.

RSK Acoustics, as part of the wider RSK Group provided acoustics support through the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) phase. This included a monitoring regime (noise and vibration), computational noise modelling, noise control design and construction impact assessments. The team developed a significance matrix in accordance with Noise Policy Statement for England LOELs, NOELs and SOELs, BS8223 and World Health Organisation Guidelines. The team contributed to an Environmental Statement (ES) Chapter and technical appendix.
