A34/M4 Chieveley Junction

Instructed by the Highways Agency to project manage all acoustic related issues for the scheme to provide a 3km length of dual carriageway, diverting from the existing A34 corridor and connecting with the existing Newbury Bypass by passing under the M4 Motorway.

Cole Jarman coordinated the road traffic and construction noise and vibration impact assessments. Noise levels were modelled using computer software to assist in the presentation of the construction noise impacts in the form of noise contours. The noise related issues of the scheme were also successfully presented at Public Inquiry and advice provided up to completion.
